Continuing medical education is a collection of activities that are performed to maintain acquired information as well as skills, update information and acquire new knowledge for graduates of the medical group, which ultimately improves their performance in dealing with patients and promotes community health. Covering about 5000 subjects in various medical, nursing and midwifery, as well as paramedical groups, the continuing education at university enables the provision of optimal services to the community with the aim of promoting and maintaining information and updating the subjects’ knowledge.

Scopes of topics related to continuing education are based on national guidelines and directions, as well as the needs of the graduates in different fields of study. The activities of this office in the form of attendant programs include codified programs, conferences, seminars, workshops- short-term professional courses- congresses and symposiums, as well as non-attendant programs.
